Tower Tea Room reviews

I have been to a lot of high teas. This is an excellent one going for quality over quantity. The food looks understated but taste was almost perfect. The young female waitress was polite and very kind. Not 5 stars as the bubbly included wasnt nice and not up to the mark you expect for the price.

Everything was perfect. Really great CS from Yuki. She took care of my partner(has so many allergies) and very kind. Then the scone and house made jam & cream was amazing!! It was impresive:) It was a good memory for our anniversary.

I really hate giving a bad review. Doing so means something went really wrong. The Langham is beautiful, comfortable and lovely. When you dont have a food allergy, the food is also nice. A shellfish allergy was advised on booking several weeks prior to the reservation. On arrival we were told there were other options to take the place of the seafood. For $118 each, the other options were thin carrot and cucumber sticks (6 small pieces) dipped in humous, and a soggy eggplant finger sandwich. There were 5 of us and the bill came to just under $600 and we all felt quite dissatisfied overall. The staff were lovely whenever they came to the table, but that wasnt often. I am sorry to say this, but if youre after a beautiful high tea that is value for money then this is NOT the place to go. There are far better, more beautiful, and more delicious options in Sydney. Sorry, Langham, but after a few years of being our go to high tea, this was our last time.

Slow and inattentive service. Zero acknowledgement of the special occasion we were celebrating. Disappointing food - truffle shaving on sweet food is interesting at best but it is not awesome, just once was enough, twice was overdone and has left me not wanting truffle anything for a very long time. Not allowing us to split the bill was irritating, yup, I get it, it is a pain for them to do it, but I dunno, it just seemed in contrast to my local little humble coffee shop who split bills with a smile. This could have and should have been much better.

The service today was great, felt welcoming of me and my 3 yo daughter. The food was just ok, I had the gluten free high tea and was underwhelmed by the presentation and flavour of the items. I was expecting more for the price and location.

Had hight tea there on Saturday and nothing extraordinary and terrible service - especially for the price you could have hoped the top end. Waiter spill the sparkling win all over the table and took forever to clean up. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water and didn't realise my glass was dirty until after. Asked for another glass and got tap water instead Would not recommend this place.
