Nice meal but I was definitely the ... "who's that stranger" ... in the room. I left after 1 beer and a porterhouse meal but had someone (server) had made me feel welcome I would certainly have spent more of my 'long distance traveller from Port Headland, WA / tourist' dollars. Just wish I had ordered off the menu at the Ampol across the road as offered by the far more friendly and welcoming proprietors. I'll do breakfast at the Ampol in the morning after I overnight at the rest stop. Thank goodness the scenery is pleasant in this region. David Marine

A small but important club for Ashford. The staff were very friendly and my meal of steak was simply presented but was cooked to my request...delicious! Will certainly return.

Love this place, havnt been for a while but used to fish and camp back in the day when Kevie used to work the bar, great staff friendly reception and a bonus to Ashford is the surrounding area from the National Park to pindarri and in between, highly recommend this great place for a family getaway and also support this great little town, one of my favorite spots 5 stars from me.
