This was our 1st visit to the BGC and unfortunately it wasnt a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and that was about. The venue looked grubby and unkempt and in need of a good clean. Although the menu reads pretty well the Food was leas than average and cold, wine list and choice by the glass extremely under PAR. Pardon the pun. This could also be because the regular clientele are not really wine consumers. We will give it another crack, as we may have just got them on a bad night and i am a firm believer of always try things more than once.

The experience started of a bit rough but they redeemed themselves very well! The chef did say he'd be unable to serve us for 15 mins which we weren't to fussed about. The food took a while but the wait was well worth it! The food was beautiful and it was a great feed after a beautiful hit of golf! The chef apologised to us for earlier on and was very polite! Definitely recommend these guys if you're a local or a golfer on tour.

The course had 2 inches of rain overnight and at 11 am when we hit off it was well playable. We enjoyed playing the course even though the fairways are tight and a joy to play from if you can hit them. The clubhouse had a friendly, functional feel to it and we enjoyed our lunch. The chicken caesar would be improved with a freshly poached egg and a little less lettuce, but it was a pleasant meal.
