Friends recommended this place so I wanted to try it out. I went a couple of weeks ago. The place looks nice but as we sat down the female waiter had no idea and lack of knowledge with the range of German beers on offer. I asked what's the difference between the different types and her response was its all the same, it's all wheat beer and it's either light or dark beer. Now I know for a fact that there are differences between each of the beers but anyways I got the original. Ordered the food, pork belly and veal schnitzel. Both came out with decent presentation and that's where it stops. The veal was over cooked and very dry. Pork belly wasn't crackling but chewy and extremely dry. You can see from the photos. I was perplexed as to how the chef got it so wrong, it was a Friday night, we were the only patrons in the restaurant and no one else. Anyways, I will never be coming back here again. They can keep my membership, best not to send it as I'll just bin it.

What a fantastic experience and a little gem of a venue. Fantastic food, drink and fast, friendly service! Highly recommend a visit to this establishment! You will not be disappointed with the food! Its a shame the beer area has been modernised and not kept in style with a typical Bavarian beer hall but its merely cosmetic. This venue has so much potential and character. I will be returning to sample more from the authentic German menu and cant wait for my next delight. Great value for money too. The staff were amazing and extremely kind to me. Thank you guys!

Great to see this German club reopen again with a new restaurant and refresh in decor. The food was absolutely amazing, offering the traditional German fare of pork knuckle, sausages, pork belly, pretzels, sauerkraut and Schnitzels as well as putting a modern and fine dining spin on classics like Maultaschen and Schupfnudeln (which you don't get at other German restaurants due to the mainly Bavarian influence). All meals delivered and didn't disappoint. The pork belly with crispy crackling was a favourite of my friends. I also loved the beer selection and unlike all other German restaurants that focus on Bavarian beers, I loved that I could get a Rothaus Pils from the area around the Black Forest. Great atmosphere on a Saturday night when we went. The Cafe also has an awesome selection of food available for breakfast and lunch.

Today we held a memorial dinner for Anna Gistl who passed away at the age of 102. We decided to hold it at this club because it had been the venue for celebrating her 100th Birthday. Veronica and the women serving our group of 22 were excellent. The service of the meals and Beverages was speedy and professional. The pork schnitzels could be improved and so to the apple strudel. I recommend if you like hearty meals served by friendly efficient staff in lovely setting then you must try this club

I used to love this place. Meals were large and you would walk away full and with plenty of smiles. When I heard the club had reopened, I was full of joy as I looked forward to reliving those fantastic memories of a joyous meal. Whilst the renovations are an improvement and the service is a thumbs up, I found the meals to be "pretty" on the plate, but extremely small. The pork schnitzel was thin / small and consisted of more crumbs than meat. The veal schnitzel was extremely dry / thin / small also and the best thing on the plate unfortunately was the coleslaw. Oh how I miss the previous chef and the large portions that came with each meal. Definitely not a German or Austrian schnitzel. Unfortunately I have no intention of returning. Wishing you all the very best.
