With heavy rains and floods everywhere, me and the boys needed a nice night out. The star was great, very accommodating, lots of tables. I wish they had more war games tables, there was literally only one. We went on a Saturday night. Parking was hectic, staff were quick, smooth and easy. Security was nice and tight. All the machines were working fine. The water feature is a nice touch, the music was perfect, the atmosphere is great. The elevators were busy and constantly very slow for some reason. The food options are too few, I'd expect at least 5-6 restaurants inside a casino of this size. (Considering how bad the one in there was). The bar service was extremely slow. We already had a seating problem, topped off by waiting about 15min to simply order a drink was a bit annoying.

Stayed at the Star Grand Hotel. Was welcomed with an upgraded city view room. Good amenities and spacious room but definitely showing its age which does takeaway from the magic. Very convenient to stay here with restaurants, shops and casino at your doorstep. Join the Star membership to take full advantage of your stay and receive bonus discounts. Would recommend for a Winter "star-cation" when prices are more affordable

The updates made to the hotel are lovely, certainly improving the quality. We stayed in a Harbour view room and have no complaints. Large room, separate bedroom with a large balcony and nice view. The staff are attentive and polite. There are good deals available with the accommodation so look around for ones that include breakfast,parking and restaurant credit.

Absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend the Royal Suite. Two levels with breath-taking views. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the views over Darling Harbour from the bathroom...amazing!! Hotel was great. Darling Harbour has been hit hard by Covid though, many of the shops in the mall are gone.

Parking was easy as we got there early $60 for 6hrs, bit steep but easy to find. The security staff were helpful as I'm on crutches and gave us access directly to areas instead of telling us to go the long way around. I recommend getting their early on a Friday as its calmer.

The casino has blocked access to most of the lifts making it almost impossible for disabled people use the premises. I can go up the escalators but can not go down one, when I asked staff where the lifts were they had no idea. Lifts that originally were available to access have now been blocked off. The Star casino is unsafe if there was an emergency anyone with a mobility disability would not get out
