Castlecove Country Club reviews

4 Star Review by Paul Bowler

Great little 9 hole golf course. The course wasin good condition when I played. It's not a championship course and it's fairly short but the fairways are good and the greens especially, they run very true. Great course for new players

3 Star Review by Graham Simpson

A small 9 hole course reasonably priced and in pretty good condition. Generally no booking required but can get busy on weekends.

5 Star Review by Robert Dow

A great 9 hole city course without city views. Makes you think that you are playing in the countryside.

3 Star Review by Dean Lawrence

The course was all right to play for 3 hours or so for 18 holes. The green was okay, not a lot of pitch marks or pain. The fair way was relatively maintained well in this snuggly course. And the best part is the degree is very level overall, not very tiring. My score was not that bad for the second time of 9 holes. No high chance to lose a ball. Narrow holes and short distance are good to practice the exact intended shot. Flexible Proshop on the deals. The only downside of the course is waiting time is long. There are many people and new group joins after at 1st hole. Many short par 3 holes make you feel lingering and waiting forever. Lost some stars for this. No fence to neighbour roads or houses, some are taking a walk. Have to ask other players to find next hole some times. Greens of Hole 2/11 and 1/10 are too close, and cant see when the ball goes left from hole 2 tee. A bit dangerous. Cafe is just all right for beer and hot chips. Bottled beer needs to be colder tho.

3 Star Review by JaeSung Lee

Nice little suburban course, only 9 holes but few of the holes have 2 tee positions to make it little different for back 9. Fairly straight forward course, to could get away with not having a driver or even 3-wood.
