First time to Briars. Great that it has a courtesy bus - picked up and dropped home. Very friendly driver who was on time. Bar staff efficient and friendly. Super busy. Kitchen service was absolutely atrocious. Said that it would be an hour wait which was fine. An hour and a half later approached the wait staff who said there was something wrong with our buzzer. Made it out issue. Manager was completely rude. Tables around us were also complaining about her. Once rectified, the meal was out in 5 minutes. Food was actually nice but the contempt from the manager of the kitchen and other staff in the restaurant left a real bad taste in our mouths. Would definitely go back for a drink but would have second thoughts about eating there.

Great place for the kids, they always have an amazing time. The major let down is the food and service. Food is below average especially if its busy. Wait times are ridiculously long and majority of the time the food is either undercooked or burnt. Managment are super rude. Such a shame as this place would be amazing if the food changed. It would be much better if the food was kept simple Thank goodness for the bar

Good place to have a beer and a bite with children. No cocktails and poor champagne selection. I believe this is a non smoking venue, but the security guard was smoking outside the entrance

The most miserable bistro experience I've had in a considerable time. Huge wait times (approaching 1 hour) for the most uninspired serving of bistro food I've seen.
