Good place for a dinner if driving through the area or staying overnight like myself. Lamb chops were tasty as and beers reasonably priced. Seems to be mainly a place for the locals however as the service was a bit slow with the staff chatting to regular customers.

When you go to a Services Club you expect friendly staff and healthy food and that's exactly what we got. This Club is in the middle of town and has it's own Motel next door, which was booked out during our stay. I enjoyed my lamb cutlets

The atmosphere of this awesome place is friendly, proffessional, warm, and inviting. Tthestaff are welcoming and helpful. Amenities are kept clean too! Superb huge meals and a kids play room in dining area, so families can relax while kids are entertained. Love it here

We have been to the CSC 3 times now and its never been a nice experience. Horrible food, horrible service and we will definitely never be go back. I heard one staff member say; I get paid by the hour, not for sales. This attitude is 100% reflected in thier service and quality of food. Do yourself a favour and stay away, we will be definitely looking for another place to eat on our way through Cowra next time.

Sad to say our experience on 27/12 was just plain bad. The club itself was nice and clean and looked to have had some recent renovations, but our experience in the bistro was simply terrible. We went to order at 7.15pm and were told they were busy and it would be a 45min wait. There were quite a few empty tables but we accepted that as it was our last night in town and taking relatives out for dinner. We ordered 4 meals and a bowl of hot chips as an entree to help get us through the 45min wait, asking for the chips to come out as soon as they could. The 45mins came and went without any food. After 1hr our numbered beeper made a noise but that was only to show the battery had run out. After 70mins we asked where the food was and could we get the chips at least. They talked to the chef who barked that he was busy, but he grabbed some chips that were already in a basket hanging above the fryer and put them in a bowl. We were handed the bowl of lukewarm chips and told our meals would come out "shortly". We were given a replacement beeper for our flat one but that had a different number (which created great confusion later). We went up a further 2 times asking where the meals were and eventually our meals were ready.... after 1hr 45mins! ALL 4 meals were cold, like the sides had been plates up 45mins ago and left waiting for the meat to be cooked, but the meat was also cooked 15mins before plating. We weren't ordering fine dining that required massive prep time, these were basic boiled vege, deep fried cutlets and chicken schnitzels. How can a kitchen screw up such simple food so badly given almost 2hrs to dish it out? Suffice to say we skipped dessert since it was now 9.30pm. There were numerous people around us complaining about the delays and others looking angry at the counter as we left. We had dinner at the bowling club 2 nights earlier and the food was delicious and came out fast. Give the Services club bistro a miss and go there instead.

Thoroughly recommend the lunch time menu. My food tasted great. And it was very cheap. Prices seemed to be stuck in the year 2010. This venue is very clean and modern. Plenty of places to relax here. They also have a large sports bar area. Excellent customer service. The club is located in Cowras CBD. We parked our car across the road. Theres a lift here for people who cant walk up the stairs.
