Food is next level good, especially the schnitzel. Only problem for me is their wine is mediocre at best. I'd bring my own if I could. I suppose it is good for me because I never drink too much wine there for fear of my own health. The wine they serve must have terrible chemicals in it or something. If they improve the wine I'll upgrade to 5 stars. Everything else is great.

It was raining during the day so the function I attended was changed to indoors. I think this place would be a nice place to relax outside when the weather is nice & when the green is in a nicer state. Food is regular old pub style. Its good for big groups & family friendly.

Sporties is a small club and the people are very welcoming. You dont feel like you in someone elses place. The trivia night is fun.

Had the Tuesday steak special. Best value meal and steak cooked perfectly. Dessert was generous and served with ice cream. Great to share. Service is a little slow for the dessert.

This is a great example of a business pivoting and making the best of the space they have. They have converted the old bowling greens to a great outside dining and drinking area. It looks like plans are afoot to even put in a playground! Checkout the retro jukebox, grab some fish and chips and have a cold drink in the sun!
