Club Jervis Bay reviews

5 Star Review by Craig Maxwell

This place was pumped full of locals out in force for their local raffle draw. The prizes were pretty damn good with credits and vouchers from $100 to $200 for various products and services. There was a reasonable line up for the bistro ... but the meals were ordered and out within 20 min ... The kitchen handled the numbers more than adequately. The staff were friendly and helpful ... The Wall To Floor TV in the main bar was awesome to watch the footy on ... The meals were bloody huge and tasty. We had the Southern fried chicken burger ... and the Ceasar salad. There looked to be half a chicken in the salad ... and the burger was a mini tower stuffed extras including bacon, cheese, chilli jam ...

Nice club! Food was great, seafood basket was fresh. Burger was delicious. Busy, but service was still quick. The pizzas looked and smelt delicious also.

Food was fantastic. Fresh seafood. Nice onion rings and chips. Lovely view of the bay. But the lemon soup that I did not order was very watery.

Standout views of Jervis Bay from this RSL on the south coast of NSW. Food what you would expect - very large serves though! There is also a pizza bar as well as the a la carte. Staff are friendly and helpful. Clean premises.

UPDATED! 2022 We LOVE the pizza at the Cheesy Grin. The best pizza in the Shoalhaven by far! The bases are amazing. The quality toppings are fresh and tasty. Staff is a little bland but helpful. Tables are a little unstable but oh well.. if your looking for a good place to have a tasty pizza. This is the place. Delicious! We ordered: BBQ Chicken and Bacon & Margarita ------------------------- 2021 Loved our lunch here today! Little pricey but worth it. Great view, very busy. Lovely staff members. We ordered: ENTREE: 1/2 kg Fresh Prawns! - Lovely, sauce was nice! MAINS: Full Rack of Ribs. - Excellent! & Marinated Lamb Rump. - Was quite nice! DRINKS: Lemon lime and bitters & Mount Kosciuszko

Our visit to the club can only be described as a disappointing and embarrassing. In a group of 9, a female was singled out for having a small amount of modest cleavage on display. The gentleman on the door, allowed people wearing thongs, shorts and casual but clean attire of the rest of the group through, but because a young lady displays an extremely modest amount of cleavage, no more than would be allowed in any professional or formal setting across the country she was denied entry. The gentleman tried to back track and blame club regulations, but on inspections of the regulations it is clear to all that there is no part of the young ladies ensemble that break any regulations. Instead, what has occurred was an individual out of time, expressing his displeasure at a young lady not being completely covered. An act that in 2023 can only be described as embarrassing. The entire event was unpleasant, not only was she singled out but she was singled out in front of Atleast 30 other patrons behind her in the line. I would encourage management to place the individuals on the door through some sensitivity training and perhaps encourage them to limit their own prejudices and out of date sexualisation of individuals to out of the workplace. Overall, I would say to any young ladies thinking of attending to remember to wear a hoodie or you might offend some out of time staff member.
