Only stopped here for a refreshing drink from the club room overlooking the lake. Very nice. Looks like a really good golf club and range. Was very popular at the time we visited.

The golf course is the better of the 2 in Wagga Wagga, with a good mix of long and short holes. There are 3 or 4 holes which are a little boring compared with the others. The pro shop and bar staff were very friendly, but the whole experience was soured by the officious, priggish attitude of the members, as represented by the committee. Even though we played as members from a club with "reciprocal rights", we were treated as visitors, rather than as guests, and were advised in no uncertain terms when we were no longer welcome, after 6 games, even though we had come from some 1000 kms away, and were the first members from our club to have played here. We will not be going back.

Wagga Wagga Country Club last night for New Years. The location on the lake for the fireworks was only matched by the superb food and First Class service by John Turner and his fantastic crew. Two Courtesy buses were very much appreciated as they were both punctual and convenient. Anyone that there last night appeared to have a fantastic night with the music pumping out on to the dance floor and for those that weren't there ,maybe should consider this venue next year.
