Wow, really impressed. Been over 12 months since I last ate here and there has been some massive improvements since. The bistro area looks refreshed and inviting. But the food has improved so much. Large meal sizes, heaps on the specials board and excellent steak . Will be coming back more often if it continues to be this good. Well done

My goodness the absolutely worst food we have had in goodness knows how long Pizza undercooked really horrible cheese was like cheap grated cheese that was so so thick with hardly any other topping in it was so bad asked to have it cooked more The chef told us if he cooked it more the cheese would burn I had steak .. $38 was so tough I could not cut it with their steak knife asked for medium cooked it was so grey like an old hardwood fence Took it back he asked if I wanted another ( dont think so )

My initial concerns upon entering the Oberon RSL Club were that the place looked very dated. It is not a modern club but it would oddly out of place if it was. The patrons and staff were helpful and friendly and the portions in the Bistro were huge. Well prepared food was served quickly while running at around 40%-50% capacity. Washed my food down with a nice cold can of Canadian Club & Dry.

We came here with little to no expectations, it was a bit busy at lunch time. Even though we wait a bit long for our food but its well worth the waiting.
