Well maintained course with excellent greens. Plays a little short with quite a few par 4's around or under 300 metres, but well worth the drive to get there.

29/12/22 our golfing group went on a four day golfing trip from our homes in Adelaide. Played Nhill in the morning, then Horsham in the afternoon. Next was Hamilton in the morning and Warrnambool in the afternoon. Next day off to Port Fairy in the morning and Portland in the afternoon. Final day was Casterton in the morning and to finish off our trip we played Penola. A great trip playing some fantastic golf courses. Portland golf course is situated close to the coast in a very peaceful undulating setting. The tree lined fairways, greens and bunkers were in excellent condition. I particularly liked the back nine holes. The shorter word for your bucket list and Golf Course are still playing in regional Victoria.
