South Lismore Bowling & Recreation Club Limited reviews
1 Star Review by Merilyn Teasdale
Christmas lunch cost $25. Consisted of a piece of boiled chicken, mashed potato, 3 pieces of undercooked carrot, 2 old, bitter asparagus spears, 1 green bean, a piece of corn and 2 tablespoons of a cream sauce. Apple crumble which was Pie Apple with a square of pastry on top drowned in custard. Reminded me of bad mass produced, old fashioned hospital food. I sent nearly all the main meal back, it was tasteless and overcooked. Could have had a large premium pizza delivered with $10 change, or a good pub meal with change for drinks. Both would have been delicious and filling.

Great service. The bowls club is still recovering from the floods so support them by dropping in for a drink.

I went for dinner as I heard the food was nice and I wasn't disappointed. I had spare ribs and they were delicious and the lamb cutlets looked yummy too. I will have the next time. The prices was really reasonable too. Definitely going back.
