Spring Ridge Country Club Limited reviews

5 Star Review by Ellen O'Byrne

My husband and I were married at The Springs in May of this year and it was perfect! I would highly recommend The Springs to anyone thinking of getting married or hosting an event. Only an hour outside of Sydney it is well located for people to stay for the weekend or just drive up for the day. The venue itself is beautiful and provided a lush green backdrop for our ceremony on the deck under the marquee. Once inside the event centre has so much character and style that not much is needed to dress it up for a wedding. Situated facing west you get some stunning pictures during the golden hour of sunset which our photographer loved. The Elizabeth and the staff at The Springs were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and I didn't have to stress on the day at all as Elizabeth ran it flawlessly, communicating with my other vendors and offering me her assistance in any way she could. She also answered my 5,000 questions promptly and in great detail. I know a lot of people don't remember their food at most weddings as there is so much else going on, but the food was delicious and I actually can't wait to go back there to eat again! I would like to say a big thank you to The Springs, the owners and the staff for making our big day better then I ever could have imagined!

Private golf course i was greeted by friendly staff. The course was a challenging layout slick greens. Fairways a tad underdone, Pizza Bar was closed grumble grumble. Wish the locals would repair their divots and pitch marks... don't get me started on the raking the bunkers... lazy buggers.. these the reasons for only 4 stars..

Played here 3days ago. First thing, wanted to pay with cash for a round of golf but they would not except cash because of Covid what a joke its November 2022 and where still doing this? Apart from the greens which where beautiful the fairways where very poor and the paths for the buggy almost non existent the the worst ride in a cart I ever had. The course is in a beautiful area and is very challenging but needs to be refined as some holes are ridiculous in there layout. And drop the COVID NONSENSE.

Beautiful location well hidden from the hustle and bustle of town. Had lunch here on Valentine's day, and loved it. Great food, friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere - will def be back!

I'll preface by saying, there has been a lot of rain but we played on Sunday 16th Oct. The course looks so unkept that it was almost unplayable. Greens like fairway, and fairway like rough and rough that ensures you lose your ball. No carts were available due to a lot of the course being a mud pit. Really disappointed, there are so many better courses to play up there "Shelley Golf Club" for example. We played there 1 day earlier and in absolute pristine condition even with the rain. I hope the Springs hasn't been left to rot because of lack of investment, and I highly suggest taking if any suggestion of it being a "championship" course because it isn't anymore.
