This isnt family friendly. Service was terrible and food not good. Thursday night, constantly got death stares from old blokes sinking schooners because our kids were playing and having fun while us parents ate dinner. One gentleman screamed at my 7yo daughter and made her cry. On telling him thats not the way to handle things two other codgers stepped to and hurled abuse at me. Bar manager walked us out the place despite the old man abusing a child. The restaurant here is a constant failure and constantly changes management. The club membership obviously wants this place to stay a boozy pissup joint for retired blokes, rather than cater to the wider community and taxpayers that subsidise their community club St Ives is changing and isnt gods waiting room anymore. No one plays bowls but there are plenty of young families that need a local family restaurant. Had joined and paid membership to support the local but will be cancelling my membership tomorrow. Entitled boomers only it seems. Message received.

This is hands down the best party venue in the north shore to hold your function. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food made by the chef is delicious and the facility its self is beautiful. Thank you to Kevin, Nick and the team for making our day so special. I recommend everyone the bowling club to anyone who wants their special function to be extra special

1 star seems generous to rate. We went for dinner here last night with a large group of friends and children. When we arrived around 6pm the restaurant was empty with people scattered in the casual/drinks area. We ordered fairly quickly. As I stood in the short queue to order the wait time increased 3 times, firstly from 35 minutes then to 50 minutes and as I ordered 1-1/2 hour wait time! I commented that this seemed fairly ridiculous as the place was hardly full. Anyway the staff seemed quite stressed and the chef even more so. Our meals appeared sporadically and extremely late. Some 1/12 hours after ordering. This is really unacceptable and something is seriously wrong for customers to wait that long for simple club food! Needlesss to say we wont be back, which is a shame as the setting was very nice and obviously it has recently been refurbished.

The Bar tender Max was very kind! Friendliest young man I've ever had serve me a drink :) He looked very professional with the tucked in uniform as well!

Good fresh clean beers, the foods alright for the price, beautiful afternoon in the sun for a beer kind of spot. The Live solo sessions on Friday have been good so far. Some Friday arvo barefoot bowls would be good
