St George Rowing Club reviews
1 Star Review by Joe Beech
Came here New Years Eve. Booked a table but no need the place was pretty empty. It took 30 minutes to get a drink as only 1 barmaid serving drinks and food. Food is very average I had BBQd octopus salad but they brought out cold Cajun octopus which was not on my menu but he said thats how they do it. I took the refund. The thing is its NYE and they had plenty of time to arrange things but as usual the service here is atrocious.
5 Star Review by Neil Lewis
A very satisfying dining experience. The outside of the club is still a bit grimy, however once inside they have done a marvelous job with the renovations including a large outside balcony which has good protection from the elements. The inside of the club is airy and light. The quality and range of food is far superior than most club food. Our group was very pleased and a little surprised. We will be back and have spread the word.
