Public House Albury reviews

5 Star Review by Kerbray

We reserved a table for New Years Eve, and received a rapid email response confirming our booking. The staff were phenomenal, and really made the evening special for us. The food was delicious and serviced promptly, and the cocktails were amazing. There were lots of party goers here on New Years Eve as expected, but the staff were still getting through orders quickly, and we had a lovely 3-course meal. Will definitely return here again when visiting, and the venue was lovely!

Great on weekdays but too busy on Saturdays. The food is nice and those table booths seats are so cool. Enjoyed their Thursday pizza night with wine. Great for corporate meetings and catchups. Wide menu and lots of drinks options.

The PH Beef Burger and the Chicken Burger were outstanding. Very impressed all around. Great atmosphere, clean and the service...? Friendly staff casually greeted us and seemed like it was their pleasure to have us. The two girls on waitstaff were amazing, always a smile from them too. Same with those on the bar.

4 Star Review by Sarah Pech

Enjoyable atmosphere. Was impressed with the variety in drinks. Enjoyed the sour whiskey the most. The choc chip waffles were delicious.

I thought this place was also called the Brick Lane, but they corrected me rightfully to confirm that is actually the cafe/restaurant next door. For some reason they ran out of Canadian Club, which was our first choice, but we wont hold that against them. Good atmosphere and good customer services. We enjoyed a nice bottled cider instead and enjoyed the booth seating. Great place for a meal or a drink after a meal. Great location right in town close to e.g. the cinemas and other restaurants. Recommended.

Second time here in a space of 4 years, and of course, it's just as fun and inviting. Bar tenders were fun and vibrant.
