I have had some great experiences at the Railway and did rate it as a 4. Unfortunately they have changed the menu and getting a basic burger is no longer possible. Beer was cold although a little inconsistent- could have been near the end of the keg. Still a good pub

Got a table for Fathers Day. Food was amazing, kids entertainment on point and lovely atmosphere as always. Our son loved the face painting.

Best pub lamb cutlets I've had. Cooked to a juicy rareness. Pepper beef steak pie was also excellent. Heaps of flavour, lots of meat, great pastry. Rating is just for the food.

There were issues with parts of all of our meals. We ordered garlic bread that came after we had finished our mains, the pork belly bites were dry and stringy, the sausages were shrivelled, the curry was oily and sloppy and the lasagna tasted overwhelmingly of a single herb with no bchamel or red sauce in sight, just oily mince. The waitress was friendly which is the only redeeming quality of this meal. Its Whitebull prices at Kilda quality.

Good food and great service at the railway. Kids play area outside so the little ones can be as noisy as they like!
