Stopped in here for a lunch countery with some work mates. I had the Aussie schnitzel ($15 special) and it was the best pub feed I've had for quite some time. Couldn't finish the plate. Staff were very friendly and the crowd seemed well earned. Well done Ashmont inn.

I ordered the pumpkin risotto and deeply regretted it. Was very bland and somehow dry?! Not sure how a risotto can be dry. However the wait staff and chefs were lovely, and all of my companions enjoyed their food - maybe mine was a one off.

Had not been there for 35 years. Standard pub food but very well done and inexpensive. Incredibly friendly staff and patrons. Very enjoyable place to dine.

When we walked into the pub it was very poorly decorated, the place looked dirty, understaffed and just had a bad vibe. We got to our seats and realised they didn't even have menus. You have to go to the bar and look at the board on the wall which got crowded quickly. They only have one register so ordering takes forever and the servers couldn't care less. We ordered our food and it came out with decent speed although one of our sides was missing. The portions are massive and on the menu board they don't actually describe what's in the dish so you have to guess. They have a nice outdoor closed in playground for the kids, TV's everywhere, security cameras everywhere, atmosphere machines, toy grab machines and a VIP room. Overall the food was nice but I hated the location. It was to trashy for me personally.
