Such a fantastic old pub. Loved the atmosphere and love that you can camp here. There are rooms available also. Staff are very friendly. Worth the drive out for a beer and a meal.

I had dinner here, they served great steak! This hotel is located in a very remote rural area, surprised to know its been there for more than 100+ years now!

A fantastic pub out of the way. Feel like family as soon as you arrive. Open fires, pool table, meals.

We were really looking forward to having a couple of drinks here but it was very disappointing, bar was dirty, mould on seats, limited food options (we didnt stop to eat) and tables in back covered in bird and spider droppings. Owners were on holiday so may be why but no reason for the place to feel grimy, especially when there were no other patrons so plenty of time to clean. Its for sale but needs a lot of investment to bring back the history and make this a destination pub again. It should have been open on the Wednesday we were due a 2nd visit as part of a tour but even tho we let the bartender know, the doors were still closed with no notice. Us plus a couple of other people passing through were left waiting outside while our guide tried to get through to find out if anyone was around but didnt get an answer. Not worth the drive out unless the pub is shown a bit more tlc.
