WORST FEED EVER TONIGHT We (3 working men doing 12 hour days) were in two nights ago and had the best pub feed ever but went back tonight with a different chef, an aussie girl and it was by far the worst pub feed all 3 men have ever had! So first of all her attitude was awful and her cooking was even worse.plus told us before our food got there was going to be under cooked and honestly did not care. I dont mind an under cooked steak I can even eat the odd blue but this could of been brought back to live by a good vet.. Ps the owner is an amazing lady wish she was in tonight! don't think we will ever be back!!!

Conor Mullin. It's Gayle and I am sending my sincere apologies. You ordered Hot Rocks which are a house favourite and come out seared. They continue to cook as you slice, sear and eat. My staff have failed to explain this properly to you which is unfortunate. Beers on me should you return in the future.

Interesting old fashioned pub. Very hospitable, beer was cold, bar was warm! The menu in the restaurant was standard pub fare - burgers, pizza, snitzels, steak, etc, but the food was really good. The fish was perfectly cooked, the Dil and Safron sauce was light and tasty, the vegetables were nicely done. The Chicken Snitzel was slightly overcooked, but the salad and chips were delicious. And the prices were very reasonable. A great place to eat.

We couldn't feel more welcomed, thanks so much Gayle! A group of us on motorbikes arrived just before a storm - bikes went into a shed, we went into the bar. Great beds, really good food. The place is being restored to it's classic style. Would highly recommend :)
