Beckom Hotel reviews

5 Star Review by Mikey Strikey

What an awesome place for people like us who seek the quiet and peaceful places of Australia without all the riff raff and traffic of the city. We did not stay at the pub but instead camped over the road at the free Beckom Park area with access to toilets and water, all for free. What more could you ask for? The fellow drinkers are real down to earth people like ourselves and not out to impress anyone, by how smart or great they are... Just simply bloody good blokes. Thanks for the chat and nice cold beers.

Pulled in, parked up, then dropped into the pub Friday night. Two seats vacant at the end of the bar. Pizza being served across the bar. What a great community. Thanks Margaret, Col, Jenise, Doreen and Simone.

Very friendly. Pleasant free camping across the road at the old bowling club. Currently the pub kitchen is being renovated so no meals at the moment but the bar has a good range of drinks and wines. There's a tv for the footy lovers and one for the rugby fans. True equality. Just as you'd expect a true aussie pub to be

The dark hair barmaid is the most rudest person i have every come across. Ill never recommend this pub at all . Toilets could be cleaner too and i noticed locals get blind drunk and drive home in there cars. Bad lack of care from the bar staff only worry how much the pattrens spend instead of worry about how drunk they are driving there cars home. Hopeless

The quintessential Australian Outback Hotel. VALUE for money! Wood smoke, home cooking. Loved my stay at the Beckom. Showed to my room by the owner of the hotel. Very clean freshly painted room, antique wardrobe, queen bed with new linen and electric blanket, shared bathrooms also very clean. Dinner served in the dining room at the back of the hotel, this night the hotel was full and they put on a full home style lamb and chicken roast dinner with all the trimmings. This hotel has authentic old world charm and the new owners really look after you.
