Fantastic Melbourne Cup 2022 at the Bella Vista Hotel! Plenty of friendly, happy & helpful staff made the Melbourne Cup event a fantastic day. Even helping new betters with the betting machines! The food, every course was delicious! Great atmosphere with entertaining MC's for the event! Thanks Bella. Can't wait to 2023 Melbourne Cup at the Bella Vista Hotel!

About a 10 min walk from Bella Vista metro station. There is some parking onsite but its pretty limited and gets snagged up quick on a busy night. This place is very large and has multiple areas to host private functions. It is also well decorated and quite nice, compared to a lot of other local hotels. The general public area was very very busy and there were also a lot of areas for dancing too - there was a wide variety of age groups here but I think most were probably in their 20s! The staff and service were standard, not much to comment on there. The food was quite nice and there was quite a large variety of food options to choose from. The bathroom wasnt the cleanest, but thats to be expected. Overall, wasnt a bad experience - would come here again for some food.

Great for business functions as well as social gathering, nice food and beer variety Easy parking underneath the building, pretty close walking distance to bells Vista metro station as well as picking up taxis, overall nice option for business and casual gatherings, love the chicken skewers and snacks

great atmosphere, cocktails, music and food. large indoor area and large outside garden. friendly staff. bars located inside and out. fairy lights lit entrance. barely any parking! very small area for parking and not much street parking either. the only downfall.

Great ambience, beautiful location, amazing food and cocktails. Excellent for catching up with friends on a Friday night. Ample amount of seat and definitely good to book in advance. The place gets pretty crowded after 7pm on Fridays. We ordered a lot of food, hot and tasting good. Service is quite fast as well. Loved penne pasta vegetarian, margarita pizza and poke bowl salad. I ordered Copacabana pina colada and ordered more through out the night. The dance floor is open sometime late in the night for those dance enthusiasts. Over all great great great experience and definitely going to go back again

Not all the right vibes here. Disgruntled security guys with a lack of customer service ability out the front. No clear signage about the $15 charge after 8.30pm. No crowd control for purchasing drinks so it was chaos. Food was good but the dance floor with all the smokers and vapers wasn't (also overly crowded). Seems to attract mostly young adolescents in large cliques but that might be because it was a Friday night.
