I ordered a case of beer through the Bottlemart app from The Forest Inn, my bank account got charged, however Phoenix and Bob at Forest Inn said they didn't receive the order despite 3 Door dash drivers arriving to pickup the order and me having possession of emailed and text receipts and them saying they received the order number before and after mine. Not rocket science to work out and solve and I wouldn't have minded leaving it till the next day if they were busy. However "Bob the supervisor" said he didn't care and told me to never call again when I rang to check up on the order. They suggested I ask Door Dash, a third party delivery service for a refund, bizzare! Truly not my style to neg businesses but I got robbed basically and then treated like trash. There were a hundred ways to solve this and the staff didn't bother to try anything and then abused me. No exaggeration. My wife (who listened to all of this on speaker phone) and I were shocked at how horrible they were to deal with. My sincere condolences to anyone who has the misfortune of dealing with Bottlemart, Phoenix or Bob or the Forest Inn Bexley for that matter, I've worked in retail and in bar management for decades and this is the is now my number one worst customer experience story! In stark contrast, Porter's Liquor completely knocks me out with outstanding service and beer recommendations and its only a few hundred meters down the street! PS if you are from interstate or overseas and looking to stay at this place as a Motel, its one of the busiest intersections in Sydney (trucks all night long) and the place is trash. Look on street view and see for yourself. look elsewhere and thank me later

Went to karaoke ...dropped in on way home. Was not too bad...little crowd but very good constantly singing. Pub staff behind bar all kiwis most obliging and most friendly....very hospitable...the guy I think Louie awesome song choice and great singing will go again

We arrived from a flight at 8:30pm to check into the hotel across the street (Bexley Hotel) and were redirected to the Forest Inn to check in. The manager was incredibly rude to us and did not accept our Expedia booking. We were sat there trying to explain our booking was valid for over an hour and a half with out suitcases in the bar area. In the end we had to pay $250 out of pocket on top of the already paid Expedia booking just to have a room for the night. The room was NOT worth nearly that much. The manager on staff that night at the Forest Inn was incredibly rude, he spoke over us, talked down to us and even made me wait for him to finish a cigarette before speaking to me. Do not recommend this place or the Bexley Motel.
