Great little pub lunch, could do with another vegan option I had Burger, partner had bangers and mash, very tasty food. Lovely to have the wood fire especially while it's cold out. The back area is great the pub just average very old and outdated seats carpets etc, but good outdoor area too.

We had my partners 40th Birthday party here in the newly opened function space upstairs. Perfect location for his celebration. Everyone loved the spot. The views from the balcony are wonderful, the decor which stays within the heritage building feel, food & service are all amazing. You made him feel so special. Thank you so much to the fantastic team at The Nelson hotel.

Revisiting this beautiful art deco pub after 21 years. Awesome lunch. We had the herb crumbed lamb chops and the crispy skin salmon. Both delicious. Garlic bread one of the best we have had. Staff lovely and friendly.
