Ordered a meal 10 minutes till closing and they were happy to serve us. The fillet steak was the best I have eaten in the longest time and my partner's parmi was also great. Will definitely be regulars now.

Great food at good prices. We have enjoyed every visit. Always visit for the food and to take a local friend there. We do not live in the vicinity of Bonnells Bay but don't mind the drive to the Bay for a good meal. Having been visiting the pub for 13 years now.

I feel that the service was certainly lacking as meals were mixed up, given to the wrong ppl and staff tried to push an unordered meal onto my family member who had paid $15 more for an actual meal not a sandwich. Staff did not believe my partner until they actually looked at their receipts..they did everything to avoid having to make the actual meal..pretty poor service

Bangers and mash was lovely for lunch and at $15 with a drink is awesome value for money.... coffee was nice and also great value for money... The staff were lovely... and the bistro was warm.... overall a nice experience

Always had a great experience here food is great and even when ordering take away its been just as good. However went for dinner service yesterday we were told it was a wait on the food which we were ok with as we were happy to sit and catch up with friends. About an 45 minutes into the wait for our food we were informed something we ordered they were out of so we decided to change which didnt bother us. However it got to two hours waiting on dinner and we asked staff for takeaway as we just wanted to head home. The staff were very apologetic and kind but I do not think the kitchen is capable of handling busy times. During our wait multiple menu log orders were taken out and when we got our food for takeaway it was less than satisfactory after paying $60 we ended up with a pork salad no pork and just greens covered in chilli, pork cutlet was delicious however we ordered it with chips and didnt receive any at all. I think to improve future service they could inform you that your food is going to be a 2 hour wait.

We were waiting for an hour and a half and they never told us it was going to be that long. Very bad service. We were with 3 Kids and had to leave at 9 pm without having dinner. I wouldnt recommend it at all unless you ask them up front the waiting time.

Just ordered food to take away with a 50 minute time to collect. Got there and had to wait an extra 30 mins for the food to be ready; (fair enough considering staff shortages everywhere) however upon returning home, I opened my daughters burger to find a bite had been taken out of the patty! Absolutely disgusted by this so need to warn everyone the poor quality of food being churned out of this place!! Never seen anything like it so would give negative stars if I could!!! Disgusting place so be warned!!! I have taken a picture of this so would post but doesnt give me the option!! Disgraceful!!

Ordered food over 45 min ago and have yet to receive our food. We got in before the rush and still waiting. I also ordered a jug from the bar and we were never given glasses as well. I can not review the food because I am still to receive it. Also no sauce was offered until I asked. It was free though. Update: Post meal, the burger was good! The pizza very average. Chicken Schnitzel was good. Mediterranean salad was average. May come back but hesitant and this stage.
