Worst pub I've been to by far. Been to this place a few time there are some nice bar staff and the food is great don't get me wrong but the owners are the reason I'm not coming back. Nothing but nasty words I have to say for them and by the way they have treated the local and the small community, I would hate to see the treatment for the rest of the tourists. Here I will tell you some of the experience I've been witness to My young 4 year old girl needed to use the toilet whilst my partner was at the bar. But she was refused access to this as I wasn't a paying customer and he had gone out side to take a phone call he was no longer a customer untill walked back in the door so I took my daughter out to find another loo I've witnessed abuse given to the local community (there returning and paying customers) many time with these people then saying that they will not return Lastly I've been in the bar and asked polietlp if I could change the channel on there tv to some thing more enjoyable as there were other people also complaining about what was on. But we were refused as the owner was there treating the public space like his own lounge room. So good job you have lost some customers

Stopped here on our way through from coffs harbour and the atmosphere was less than welcoming, yucky even. Full of scowling locals. The barman was reasonably friendly but he was the only one in the place that bothered to smile. The food was horrible and plain. We've stopped at many pubs from SA to CQ and this was by far the worst one.

Have never been treated more poorly by anyone at any venue then the publican/manager at this venue. The way he spoke to my wife in front of my 3 year old daughter was abhorrent. All because a three year old needed to use his toilet while we were on the way to HIS bottle shop. Needless to say we didn't make a purchase from the pit. Only a carton of beer but I will tell all and sundry about the drip that runs it and the way we were treated.

What a great friendly little place. Dinner was cheap and really tasty. Accommodation right next door, nice and clean and comfy.
