We've just moved in next door but one and needed a basic pub feed on moving day. This place ticked all the boxes: the daily special was tasty and substantial, the bar staff were friendly, and we found a decent red on the list. Edit: revisited this evening and the Schnitty is also 5*; one of the top 5 I've ever had and I eat a LOT of them.

Rudest aggressive staff we have ever encountered. Not welcoming at all. Worst pub on the northern beaches by far. Do not bother coming here it is a failure, the nicest most upright person I know was treated like a criminal for no reason. Will call the owner tomorrow who needs to be aware their business is being run into the ground by rude staff , I have a diploma in hotel management and 1 star is far too much when they deserve minis 5

Missed out on 5 stars because no Brookvale Union on tap any more. Good solid local with attentive service teams and a proper ambience. Will go again and again

I was bullied and belittled in the bathroom by two female members of staff and have subsequently made a detailed formal complaint. It ruined an otherwise very happy night out. This venue has some other lovely staff and security but a few staff that use the job as a means to act on a power trip and behave very poorly. A real shame.
