Nice country pub. Friendly service. Great outside view. Food not that great. My grain fed steak was overcooked and chewy. Couldnt finish it. The garlic gravy was porridge consistency and inedible. The ribs were soft but dry with little sauce.

Visited here for a beer, lots of staff who were always busy. Beer was cold and very friendly service. Got the ribs which were on special. Huge portion. Cooked well . Bistro staff also very friendly and meals came out quick. Go on a Thursday night and you might even win a meat raffle or two .

Nice pub in the town of Bulahdelah, located on the main street. Also has areas out the back looking over the river. The front bar has a lovely rustic atmosphere, you can almost feel the history. The bistro serves standard pub fare so worth checking out if in the area or on the road.

We stayed in Bulahdelah on our way to go on holidays and this pub had the most delicious chicken parmigiana that I have ever had! The chicken was so juicy and succulent! The front bar had such a nice vibe in that classic country style small town pub way. We didn't stay here but it was a great spot for dinner and drinks.

One staff member was lovely and polite but another very rude. The food was very very average. The pub is essential to the town vibe and its a great shame, it needs serious work and food needs very serious improvement. I dont recommend it as is.

Hard to even put into words how much I enjoyed my experience at the Plough Inn. This place is top tier. Get yourself a seat on a table out the back overlooking the water at your earliest convenience and have a few schooners while you're at it - you will not regret it.
