The Beach Hotel reviews
5 Star Review by Erin
Awesome venue with a buzzing atmosphere. Its large, multiple dining areas and bars, a range of live music including some excellent Aussie bands all for free entry. Was really impressed with the food too, the chicken parmigiana was fresh and yummy and a generous serving size.

Came here a few times on our trip to Byron Bay. Really great venue and awesome live music but the cocktails took a very long time to come and the security guard was really making sure no one was dancing. It's in the best location, right near the beach. Would come here again but only because there's nothing else like it in here

Been a couple of times. Food was good. Great entertainment. Loved the pizza, chicken Parma was not worth $30, good serving of chips, fish and chips were average and a nice cheeseburger.

What a pub!! Ticks all the boxes for me. Loads of beers available including other drinks, order from table or bar, Prosecco comes in a wine glass, food was a high standard of pub food, live music, great outdoor areas, good for kids, plenty of space for everyone. Overall great vibe, love it!

Great venue, foods good. The bands are lovely. I asked staff if they could turn on the AFL on big screen and they did. Security guards are definitely rude. You get them. Apart from that. 4 stars !

Went for lunch which was good but unfortunately forgot our sons order. Told waiter twice and advised that this was missed. Waited about an hour for the order. Other that that it was a nice spot.

Very mediocre. Snapper sold out can happen. Alternatively the swordfish. Lukewarm and half raw. Table mate ordered sirloin medium. She got it well done, without the sebago potato and salad that comes with it. After much nagging she got the potato. After nagging again, she finally got the meat (plus another potato). Meat was good back then. 3rd table mate had Chicken Parmigiane and it was good in 1 go. Applause. Be wise, try another eatery. Especially for the prices they ask. Speaking of which, two pints of local beer and a draft ginger beer will set you back $50. Serious. Live music was pretty good. That again.

Excellent atmosphere and great place to grab a drink, however the food is not very good. My boyfriend and I went here on a Monday night, and ordered a cheeseburger and the $38 steak. We had to wait over an hour for our food and once it came out it was just a big disappointment. My steak was so dry and tough (I had ordered it medium ), and was not worth the price or the hour wait. I understand its not a fancy restaurant, but for $38 Id expect the steak to taste at least half decent. Overall nice vibe but grab dinner at one of the many other wonderful restaurants in Byron, and just come here to grab a drink afterwards.

I mean you can't beat the view and atmosphere, but $15.50 for a schooner is ridiculously expensive. Feel like it's taking advantage of the fact that people will still come and pay whatever price because of the location, and hey I can't blame them, but feels pretty bad regardless.
