A really lovely feel to this small country pub and the food is good as well. Also learned that it's famous because David Bowie shot his music video for "Let's Dance" here, so you simply have to visit it.

Very welcoming owner. Pub is great for Bowie fans (and I'm one). Didn't eat there as we won a meat tray at the last pub but had a blast with fellow travellers. Rough camping but toilets and shower provided free. Please support these country pubs. They rely on people like us.

For a typical outback Pub.. The Publican was great and the beer was cold. Just driving through so didn't have a meal, but from what I saw they looked great.

I only want the basics when I stay are a hotel/motel/camp ground. Basics is what you get here. A good meal. Friendly staff and locals. A comfortable bed, a warm room and a hot shower. I got all of those things...and then there is the David Bowie connection. My second visit...and I think I will be back. I KNOW I will!
