Constructive criticism........overall disappointing. 1. Booked table for 8 on 03/09/22 (APPROX1PM) in my name (Bruce) for 1815. Booking confirmed by email. Then I received a text confirming booking. Whilst I was at a nearby concert (mobile turned off) I received another text at 4.15pm requesting me to confirm my booking. TOTAL OVERKILL!!! 2. My group arrived at 1815.......table only set for 6; I had 9.........(table no. 10). No one was available for service; I moved another table to join our table. It was very dirty. I had to lean over the bistro counter to fetch a cloth cleaner. 3. When I ordered a chicken schnitzel without dressing on the salad it came out with dressing. I told the guy; he said he was only the delivery guy and the kitchen was busy??? 4. I also ordered 2 x rump steaks at the same time as in '3' above, with mushroom sauce, which was an additional charge?? BUT when delivered only one had a very tiny serving of sauce. Same delivery guy; same comment as he had earlier. I could well have asked to speak to someone in authority but bit my tongue for peace. The 9 of us spent a lot of money for drinks/meals but overall service was poor. Businesses complain about poor patronages but any wonder with our experience at Caringbah Hotel!!!!!!! So you sent me an email for feedback on our experience...WELL...YOU GOT IT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Excellent customer service. I think my waitresses name was Rose. However there was an odour of urine throughout the venue. Definitely best steaks in Carringerbah.

Apologies for a lack of photos. Theres nothing inherently wrong with this place. It's another QR code dining experience, so customer service is basically non existent. The food was kinda slow, but it wasn't bad.. just not impressive either. Wouldve given 2.5 stars if had the option

I was there last night. I drove there after being at the Cronulla Theatre to meet friends who had been there watching the World Cup. I suddenly was escorted out by a big bouncer, telling me urgently I had to leave. Had something happened? Had I been witness to something I wasn't aware of? I was worried and shocked. When I was then told I'd had too much to drink and they 'could no longer have me in the establishment.' I had had one small wine, at their venue about half an hour prior. My only drink all day. Moments earlier my friend and I were saying how all our friends go to Cronulla venues and we should get them to come here etc. Honestly I now understand why such a big venue is empty on a Saturday night. I am still a bit shaken and upset. If you don't want people to drink (a drink) don't sell alcohol, then treat them like they have done something wrong. I think RSA is necessary to protect all of us but: - I was not approached in a customer friendly or respectful manner - I was escorted very publicly and loudly in front of the pub and my friends by a very intimidating bouncer - I was not given any reason why I was being removed, or what behaviour possibly could have led to this, besides we believe you've been drinking elsewhere - which was absoloutely not true. I felt discriminated against. Instead of now encouraging friends to visit Caringbah I will be going to Cronulla. Where I have never ever been treated so poorly, in fact I have never experienced this treatment in any venue ever. I'm sure Liam was trying to do his job, but in this instance he got it wrong.

For $24 my chicken schnitzel wasnt the best iv had & the $2 extra I had to pay for my gravy was not worth it. I got 1 tiny cardboard tub of gravy which equalled to a mouthful. Not worth it.

Stayed here for 2 nights and I would not recommend. The check-in process was uncomfortably long and there was no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The studio double room was scarily bad. Strong mould smell coming from the bathroom, no smart TV as advertised, only 1 bedside table lamp, harsh fluorescent lights, stained carpets, and suspicious-looking hairs on the toilet seat upon arrival. We were upgraded to the studio twin queen room, which was infinitely better, but both rooms were extremely bright at night due to not having good black-out blinds. Both mornings we were startled awake by the incessant noise made by the cleaning staff very early (around 7am). This included yelling, vacuum cleaning, door slamming, and unidentifiable banging of some kind of metal. The walls are so thin you could probably punch through them. Dodgy area so there were constant sirens up and down the street outside. The hotel has clearly done their best to update the rooms but overall this place is beyond rough.

I wish I could post a photo of the food, absolutely terrible! Nothing was fresh, half my salad was wilted.

House keeping staff are lovely however downstairs staff could be a bit more polite and proactive.
