Best steak & veg dinner I have ever had! Perfectly cooked medium-rare steak. I especially appreciated that I could choose to have roast potatoes with the veg, rather than the usual greasy chips or gooey mashed potato. Nice location opposite the old railway station, in a lovely town on Wailwan country.

Bitterly Disappointed, We cycled from Coonabarabran and purposely booked the accomodation on the basis of the great reviews of the Bistro and the ease of walking for food after a long day in the saddle. The bistro was closed with NO warning from the staff when booking or checking in. The cabins were nice to stay in, though we found the rest of the experience of Coonamble very poor. Very unfriendly towards cyclists.
