Settlers Arms reviews

4 Star Review by David Vaughan

We stayed the night and thoroughly enjoyed the quaint small pub atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. The new owner was there to greet us and show us to our room. The room was very comfortable especially the soft bed and new ensuite. Meal choice, although selective, was tasty and more than ample. Give it a try if you are staying in Dungog or just call in to enjoy a drink.

5 Star Review by Gavin Scarman

Lovely old pub, nice rooms, good vibe. A very good selection of craft beers on tap. Did a pub crawl of Dungog and this was the best. Can't fault accom tho fairly basic, tidy, good bed, etc, these old pubs need to be supported and are just lovely to stay at.

4 Star Review by Paul Ma

Well looked after by the new owners with good rooms and fresh linen. The only drawback is the single communal shower and toilet. Complimentary light breakfast of cereal and tea or coffee was very welcome.

5 Star Review by Peter Burke

We stayed in the ensuite and it was great and reasonably priced. Lovely owners and managers - they were all very relaxed and accommodating (our 2 yo daughter was dining too). Dinner was fantastic. The bar is great, nice open fires. Beaut setting for a nice evening in. We had a lovely night - thank you Settlers Arms

Cosy little hotel with some locals in for happy hour. Meals were solid, and the room was everything you'd need at that price point.
