We had a Hamburger and Chips, I really enjoyed the Hamburger which had onion, beetroot cheese and lettuce with a large meat patty. The chips were golden and crispy due to good clean oil. Sauce e was served on thesside in a small dish. Would definitely recommend this meal

We recently stayed for 2 night for a wedding.The room was spotless and comfortable. The housekeepers are amazing.A special shout out to Sandy,what an absolute legend,so friendly and professional. Perfect location also.

Great indoors option (especially on rainy or super hot days) for UFC and sporting main events. Lots of big indoor screens. Great value too - $8 pints and $20 mains. And pool tables + darts boards!!

Lovely pub. The staff are so friendly and the patrons were a great bunch as well. The accommodation was very nice, comfortable large room and big bathroom area and shower. Will definitely be back.

Im staying here at The Charles for a weeks break.. 1stly ALL staff are friendly, courteous and acknowledge you.. The room is comfortable, clean and quiet to get an arvo nana nap.. Foyers, hallways, decor add to the charm of the building.. And I just had Scotch fillet.. Perfectly cooked, chips perfect and the yellow capsicum in salad was great choice.. Id call the menu Modern Australian.. And the beer garden out back is great for families Or just nice to have a bevy or 2 and chat.. Ive been in retail 35+ years, hence me wanting to leave a great positive review.. All at The Charles deserve it.. Im relocating back to the Gong.. And The Charles Hotel will be my 1st choice to catch up friends etc Thanks to the staff and management once again, youve made me feel very welcome Kev Miller
