I ate here on a Saturday night. Party of two. This was an Asian bistro. We ordered before being seated. We ordered a short soup, prawn toast, a small boiled rice and the beef in special sauce, served sizzling. All of our dishes were served hot and fresh within 5 minutes. The special sauce tasted like a hoisin sauce with a dash of spice. Good balance of vegetables and the beef was tender. The short soup wontons had a nice balance of flavours including pork and prawn. The broth was clear and delicious. The four dishes cost $39. We were really impressed with the service and quality of food and would definitely go back there when were in Forster next.

If you're after 1980's Australian Chinese food, then this is your place. Deep fried prawn toast, dim sum, and empty spring rolls, with a side serving of access oil for entree. Don't forget the side of hot pink plum sauce and msg. 30 iitems on the menu all using 3 ingredients. Good luck the next day.

All the staff here are friendly and helpful. We've been for breakfast in the cafe, lunch, just a couple of drinks, and for dinner. The food is always tasty and generous.
