Is there such a rating where I can put TEN gold stars? Five does not seem adequate. Absolutely lovely hostess enquiring if it is our first visit, explaining the menu and the specials. All staff were friendly. But the meals are exceptional ~ partner had the rump steak and he said it was definitely one of the best he has had. I had the roast beef special and that was incredible. Melt in the mouth meat and the baked vegetables were superb. Full sized and very tasty meals! Highly recommend this hotel.

Thank you. Called to see what time meals were onto. Was told 8pm. Then was told if running late ( as we were on the road still) call up and they would put some meals thru the register for us. Arrived in plenty of time to order. The pub was very busy. So to get told that over the phone shows that good service is still out there. Food was quick and very nice. Two very happy customers.

Just had Thursday $18 rump. Outstanding value, perfectly cooked, medium rare. Compliments to the chef, thanks heaps. Hands down the best rump I have ever had at a pub.

Stopped in on our drive to Melbourne, had a Bushman Schnitzel with mash. Chicken was tasty and juicy, certainly fresh and not frozen! Plenty of mushrooms and gravy and very tasty mash. Brookvale Ginger Beer on tap was great. Bartender was very friendly and helpful with food and drink suggestions. Chef deserves 10 stars! Will return on the way back.

Just had a toasted steak sandwich with chips and salad. Admittedly it wasnt that expensive but the steak was so thing and over cooked. The salad was really non existent as there were a couple of bits here and there thrown in with the rest. When I went to the kitchen hatch it was just sitting there. Nobody to say anything so I just took it and realised when I got back to my seat that it must have been there a while as it was pretty cool heat wise. I dont usually moan as I know things dont go ok everyday but it was more like a serving from a second rate food stall at the footy

Such a great place! So friendly and feels like a place locals go to. Great variety of food and good prices. The rump steak is amazing and we had the apple pie too. Would definitely go back.

We stopped at Riverina restaurant on our way to Sydney for a lunch. The staff were very friendly, the food was really good and the prices were reasonable. We will surely visit there again when we are heading to Melbourne.
