Accommodation - 2 stars, just. At $50 per night it's about what can be expected. Difficult to recommend, even at that price. Would do at a pinch for an overnighter. The basic rooms are small, cold, and very unwelcoming. New carpet and a coat of paint would make it a bit more welcoming. The shared facilities weren't bad in fairness. Food - 4 stars. Some excellent pub meals available, had 3 dinners and all were great. Staff - excellent, friendly etc. Location - 5 stars. Great spot, walk to the waterfront and main street of Kiama. Pretty quiet area too.

This place is not fit for humans. Price point was low but not much less than a motel. But given the price I still expected it to be warm and hospitable, maybe with limited facilities and a shared bathroom. This room is freezing. There's no heating, none. It's as cold as outside. I actually wish I was sleeping in my car. The bedding is a very thin Donna, no sheets and extra blankets aren't even an option. My nose feels like it's about to fall off its so cold. It's musty smelling. The backs of the curtains are black and wet. The door is loud and clunky if you need to visit the bathroom. I'm too scared to fall asleep as it feels like we're in a fire trap, I'm sure the fire alarms don't work. I feel like I'll get beg bugs from this rotted place. The towels have redish mould stains on them. So we won't be showering here, which is probably for the best. I can't believe the owners here happily take peoples money in exchange for a night here. It's morally wrong. I'd feel more comfortable in a prison cell, it would seriously be more comfortable than this. I literally can't wait until daylight because I'll be out of here quicker than a rat up a drain pipe. Spare yourself the misery and do not stay here under any circumstances.

Ordered takeaway beef nachos on a Friday evening for $20. Worst nachos Ive ever had! Was burnt (presumably under a grill) so corn chips were blackened and everything tasted smoky. A large pile of sour cream and guacamole was dumped on top to hide the charring. Underneath was cheese (hardly any) and a few beans. No tomato, onion beef or spices . . just a large pile of dry, smoked corn chips. Wont return.

We did not stay at this venue, instead we had dinner here on our last day in Kiama. This place was suggested by our friend who is now a local in the area. We ordered Chicken Parma, Fish of the day, parmesan chicken wings and garlic bread. The food was good all in all, the serving sizes were big. I think it was good value for money for 3 people dining in. Will definitely come back to this place if we crave for Pub/Bistro style food when we are in the area.

Food was less than average. Antipasto platter with more apples than anything else...few slices of cured meat of a questionable quality and some cheese. The other dish, Mussels, small, overcooked and far from tasty. Beer was ok....... We left and luckily a Thai across the street was ok....lot of changes needed

I counted 7 tables that were covered with dirty dishes, glasses and food scraps that remained untouched for the two hours I was there. The guy employed with cleaning it was too busy staring at his phone. Customers either cleaned it themselves or had to go pester staff. No cutlery at all, customers had to request them several times. Chefs did nothing to resolve this issue by restocking the cutlery tray directly adjacent to food collection. A kids pizza took 40 minutes and when it arrived it was tasteless.. when the chef's were asked how much longer the pizza would take they replied "when the buzzer beeps".... Bravo.... This place has great potential but from reading other reviews, it seems they don't care and are doomed to never be great. They must capitalise on some devoted locals and tourists who walk in blind without doing their research.

Beer & food is good. But definitely NEVER stay there overnight! Shower broken! Toilets broken! Everything extremely old and neglected! Pure horror!

Was one of my favourites. Service was brilliant and the food was good. However I was disappointed the last few times I visited. Used to be good but food and service has gone downhill. Short measured me on a glass of wine and wouldn't fix just argued about where they measure to which apparently isn't the mark on the wine glass. Off my list. Plenty of other better options.
