Thursday night this is the place to be. Full seating area for food, but managed to get a table. Dinner was incredible, cooked perfectly. Chips were golden and the beef brisket was to die for. Seven mile beers from Ballina which is a big plus. But yeah, cant recommend the new kitchens food enough. Will definitely make this a regular stop for dinner outings

Blown away by the quality of the meals here considering majority of businesses and homes are still under repair. Both the bar and the kitchen staff/chef were amazing, food fresh and although the venue was busy I barely waited for my dish that I can honestly say is a cut above most other pubs ive been to. Ill be back for dinner tomorrow.

Atmosphere very welcoming, uncluttered layout, friendly staff, food was great and lots of variety. A couple of steps into the hotel, not certain if there is another access for disability. Roof top area for entertaining as well. Floor plan definitely suits disability needs. Definitely going again, great to see that there is a positive vibe after all that has happened in Lismore.

The service was great. The staff at the bistro lovely and friendly. Maybe the bar guys need to work on being friendlier especially to people not from the area. The food tastes great. But my only disappointment was that for $45 dollars, my steak was underwhelming. It was a small serving and was actually dry even thought it was meant to be cooked rare. But overall I would eat there again just for the environment.

Great to see the Met back on its feet after drowning twice. The place is warm and clean , the staff are friendly and cheerful, and the coffee is fantastic. An excellent choice, and i will definitely be taking the family for dinner there. Can't wait...

The Metropole has a great vibe. They've cleared out the pokies so it doesn't have the depressing "VIP room", and it's invested in a great rooftop bar, good food and plenty of great beers on tap.

Great rooftop space. Downstairs bar is open and friendly atmo. Good muso playing Friday night. Food good for a pub.
