The Savoy Bar reviews

1 Star Review by Belinda Elderfield

Popped in for a drink before we went out for dinner this evening and was very disappointed. No atmosphere at all. Ordered a mango margarita and it was horrible, I couldnt drink it, my husband had a gin cocktail which was pleasant. The amenities were unkept and unhygienic. A real shame as the last visit a few years ago was amazing but far from ok now.

5 Star Review by Amy Zhang

This is such a cool place. I'm glad my friend brought me here for the great pizza, deco and atmosphere. The cinema is open two nights a week, ticket was sold out when we visited for "Notting Hill" but we checked out the cinema space and would love to come back again for the experience!

4 Star Review by Paul Johnson

Definitely a young person's venue. Last night the average age would have been early 20s. Smallish venue. Interesting set up. Bar is downstairs from the old cinema area where the Djay is set up. Dance floor is limited as it is in front of a large screen. Great vibe for the younger generation. Over 30s might be better off at a pub or club

Left my drink at the bottom of the stairs when I was told I couldn't take it outside when I stepped outside for 5 minutes and yet when I came back in it was gone and they refused to replace it even though it was full!!!
