The interior is an old style pub with bar area, dining and upstairs area. Meals are great and generally eaten in bar area. I had a curry chicken which was mild to medium heat. Favourable, but had bones included which I was wary of. My accommodation was out back of pub in a transportable: queen and a single, TV, toaster, microwave and bathroom. My room faced out to the river, but area having been flooded I had water about 4 metres from front entrance. Overall, great place at a good price as travelling was costing just over $200/day (fuel, food, accom etc).

We camped out the back of the pub, by the river boat launching ramp. Very pleasant spot. Toilet / shower available. Walks around the town and river had explanatory signs up, telling the history of the town. Dinner at the pub was outstanding! Staff friendly and helpful.
