Was visiting from Sydney. Mum and her partner recommended that we go here for dinner. We had the cheesy garlic bread for entrees. I had the slow cooked lamb shoulder (as pictured). It was really delicious. Will definitely go again when I'm back up there

After recently moving to Muswellbrook I was looking for a good local pub and I can certainly say I found one. The staff are all absolutely lovely and the food is top notch. I've been there twice already and am looking forward to more times in the future.

Absolutely Sensational! This hotel is beautifully decorated, has a great range of beers and very attentive staff that provide awesome service. I visited for the first time last night and enjoyed a perfectly cooked Wagyu Steak. I cant wait to go back to enjoy something else from the comprehensive menu. Thank you to Steve for and all of the staff for a very memorable experience. Highly, highly recommend the Royal Hotel Muswellbrook!

Went in for lunch today, my partner had the nachos was dry, tasteless and bland didn't finish the dish due to not enjoying it. I had the the ribs wasn't worth the 45 dollars as the marinade is a bought one and I've done them myself and has been alot tastier, needed more coleslaw dressing which could have been done better needed more chips the small basket not worth it and needed more onion rings definitely not worth the $45 should be more along the lines of $30-35 at most unless there is more ribs chips and coleslaw Both dishes way over priced for what you got

Has been renovated in the last few years to a very high standard. Good atmosphere at night with decent beer. Restaurant is very good but not cheap by muswellbrook standards. Food however, is top notch. They do good lunches and the dinner menu is substantial.
