I got the $18 Wednesday night special ( prime rump with veg & mushroom gravy) and my partner had the flat head, chips and salad. We waited a little bit but the wait was worth it, the food was absolutely amazing. The lovely ladies in the kitchen were working very very hard the entire time and with the biggest smile. The entire staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We go out for dinner in Sydney a lot and to some pretty nice places, but I have to say It is the best meal Ive had in a very long time! I can see how much effort and pride they put into their work. If we are up Nambucca ways again we will definitely be paying the sands a visit!

The chilli garlic prawns were awesome. Shame the coffee machine was out of action it would have been nice to finish the meal with a coffee.

Noisy. Lemon butter pan fried fish not very nice. Placed on top of chips - made chips soggy.

Food is good for the reasonable prices. Oysters were passable, a little small and could have been colder. They were obviously understaffed as we waitied 45-50 mins for our food. Was told no seafood pie and there was no feta in the roasted vege salad. Service at the bar was very freindly.

Good feel overall and great staff. Not the easiest to find, most of the food was decent and reasonably priced. Would eat again there if I was in the area.
