The QT was nothing short of superb. We enjoyed our work function here in Jana restaurant followed by cocktails on the rooftop bar with amazing city and harbour views. Staff were extremely pleasant and professional. Special mention of Josh and Event Coordinator Diana who helped make the experience really enjoyable and could not have been more accommodating. The rooms are lovely. Very spacious and luxurious. Food was delicious with plentiful portion sizes. Will look forward to returning!

Stellar fit out and amazing rooftop bar! I'm surprised by the comments on staff as the service was excellent when I was there. Friendly faces everywhere and the food and drinks arrived quickly. Could not rate the experience or the staff more highly! Traveller tip: Whereas there was no wait for the downstairs bar, if you want to drink at the rooftop bar I'd recommend pre-booking a table in advance!

Fabulous room with a great view over the harbour. Enjoyed drinks in the bar & a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately restaurant was fully booked, a bit disappointing when you are a in-house guest. Blakes customer service is exceptional. All staff were very helpful & attentive.

My girlfriend and I stayed two nights at the QT. We stayed at the deluxe king room with a beautiful big bathtub in the spacious bathroom. Our package included daily breakfast which was breakfast for two with juice and coffee. Food was yummy and it was $70-80 worth each day so it was good deal! We also enjoyed cocktail at the roof top bar. It has breathtaking view of Newcastle downtown and the river! Everything was perfect here including warm welcoming and great service. Thank you :)

Thank you QT Newcastle for an amazing stay! Such a great space in an awesome location with phenomenal staff! Special shout out to Jasmine, her service in the bar/restaurant was second to none. She always had a smile on her face and made us want to come back - which we did. The room was luxurious and the food and drinks were deliciously perfect (order an amaretto sour, you wont regret it). We will definitely be back!

Ive tried QT multiple times for drinks and unfortunately have been left disappointed. I think $18 for a glass of pinot Grigio that tasted like the bottle had been sitting for a few days isnt good enough. Ive also tried some of the cocktails with the margarita being the worst. I dont like writing bad reviews but I think the QT needs to be better. I was discounted $3 off my wine but felt like my complaint wasnt really heard. The atmosphere and decor is lovely (hence the 2 stars) but the prices are too high for the quality being served at Jana.

Absolutely amazing stay! We just spent the weekend in Newcastle as two families and stayed at the QT Newcastle and cannot recommend it highly enough. The location is great, the hotel is wonderfully fitted out and the rooms are very spacious and clean with all the amenities you could ask for. The best thing about the hotel however is the impeccable service. A huge shout out to Teddy who bent over backwards to ensure we were absolutely spoiled and looked after, to Blake who was a wealth of knowledge on local sites and eateries and kindly shared his knowledge with us. Everyone we met at the hotel was absolutely amazing. The attention to detail was second to none and we cannot recommend the QT enough. So much so that were already planning a return trip in March! Kudos to the amazing team at QT Newcastle for a perfect weekend away.

Attempted to visit the rooftop bar tonight. We were approached by a staff member while we were waiting at the lift, and were told we couldnt go up to the rooftop because it was full, but they directed us to the front desk to put our name and phone number on a waitlist. We went to the front desk and that person seemed slightly confused by our request to be put on the waitlist. I gave my name and phone number and it was written down - there was no offer to have a drink at the inside bar while we waited or any other scrap of customer service. The interaction also felt very much like that they wanted us to leave and we werent welcome at such an exclusive venue. We left and headed for a drink around the corner whilst we waited, but we never received a text or a phone call. Not surprising given that we received the impression that they didnt want us there. Very disappointing though! Ive been to the Melbourne QT Rooftop four or five times and have always enjoyed spending my money at that venue. Far too pretentious for little old Newcastle.

Welcome staff on check in very friendly. Rooftop bar a lot of fun. The room is perfect and immaculately clean. Bed linen perfectly crisp with all amenities taken care of! Cant wait to stay here again !
