Wonderful little music lounge, bar and restaurant tucked away downstairs in Newport. A great spot to meet friends for a drink and listen to the music. Turn off that damn social media and get out there! I enjoyed the red wine by the glass and my carbonara. Some of the younger ones just had water and that was fine. Kash and her husband are very kind and friendly.

I felt like I was in an episode of Cheers...friendly owners (who remembered me and my family from a week ago), nice intimate underground setting and fun supportive vibe for open mic. Well worth the visit.

A small group of us popped into La Vida Loca last week for the first time and we were extremely happy we did. They have an extensive cocktail menu and the food (on the table next to us) looked great. The staff and owners were fantastic and should be extremely proud of their fast and efficient service. Prices are very reasonable and it was nice to hear some live music after being locked down for so long. We will be return visitors for sure and definitely recommend!

Had an awesome night there with a group of friends. The bartenders were amazing and made sure we had all of our favourite cocktails. Their extensive list of drinks will suit everyone and the vibes were excellent. Even gave our deso a coke in a contiki glass so she felt included!

What a really genuinely nice place to be. I've turned up for the Open Mic 4 times and from the first time I walked in the door I felt like I was welcomed and the owners recognised me the next week. Good range of beers, these guys have owned a string of cocktail bars in the past, I'm told, so they can mix you up anything you want and I'm a whiskey fan...they've got a pretty decent range for a smallish local bar. Also a good mux of people...young'uns having a fun night up to the older regulars and they're all pretty decent to hang around. This is really well worth the visit.
