Lovely venue, nice warming atmosphere And the food was AMAZING! Thank you to the dear chef for our meal. We ordered the Surf n Turf, Caesar Salad,Fried Squid and Sirloin Definitely worth the money and make sure to take part in the raffle take some cash...not like me take no money .

Waited like 35 minutes for the food to arrive, only found out after we ordered that the kitchen was unfortunately understaffed for that particular day during a trivia night. So about 20 mins into our wait i asked to get takeaway instead. Ordered the cheeseburger and the pizza which was decently sized and tasted fine but the cheeseburger looked sad and small. definitely wasn't worth the wait. Pub food is meant to be huge, filling, and great value and it seemed a bit lacking in that department. At least the bartender offered us a free drink so we got a lemon lime bitter, which wasn't actually a cocktail made lemon lime bitter, it was purely made from the schwepps dispenser and it was pink, they charged $4.20 for that Next time tell us an approximate wait time or let us know the situation in the kitchen before we ordered, even the sign that said "sorry we're understaffed" was at the back where the kitchen is instead of at the front desk where people order and might see.

One of the best places for a good lunch. I am from the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and i cannot find a hotel/pub as good as this one in my area. The staff and the cooks are very good! Came here 5 times and never lefr disappointed. Not to mention the great price.

Solid 4 star. Refit is very nice. Good selection of drinks and decent food. Nightly specials also. Massive screen in sports bar area if you want to watch game ( separate from dining area)

I've lived in the area for a while but it's only few weeks ago I've visited the Tollgate hotel for lunch with my friends. I was really impressed with the location it's very nice fit out, good atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good variety of drinks and food was nice. Parking on site is a huge advantage
