If your looking for a dog friendly, last minute spot to have lunch or dinner, The Commodor Hotel is The place. With its large covered outside area and sprawling bar, it is easy to find a table, order drinks and food and relax with your doggy and friends.

Thursday night mussels are a must! This place only does the mussels on Thursday nights and they are amazing! They have changed it up a couple times with different styles of mussels, but regardless which version you get, its usually always very delicious. Patrons and staff are very friendly too and they are pet friendly in their outdoor area. Good for a beer and sports too when there are games on.

A reasonably priced, dog-friendly pub option for those looking for a place with a great beer selection. I wish they would be more proactive about cleaning their tables as they were very dusty and greasy when we came. However, the food was pretty good. You can expect to pay around 20-30 dollars for their dining options in the evening and around 12 for a pint of beer. Not too part for this part of town. A great place to watch sports as well with the number of different channels they have available.

Great outdoor area for a nice meal, friendly staff and pubgoers. Food was decent, although could be improved a bit, was a little cold and chips a little tasteless. Beers were nice and service fast lots of TV's for sports watching. Value for money was average. Overall had a good time, but nothing setting this pub aside from the others for me.
4 Star Review by Emily Smith
This place exceeded my expectations regarding the food. The pizza was great and the price for a dinner of two was good. Footy was on and had three different TV's- one was a big one so it was fun to watch while eating. Would definitely come here again!

The Commodore Pub was a fairly decent spot to have lunch. It has good, hearty food that you'd expect from a bistro, with many staples like Pizza, Burgers, Chicken Parmigiana etc. There was a good selection of beers on tap, however I can't speak on the cocktails or wine as none of us ordered those. Nothing about what we ordered was mind blowing, but it was definitely not bad food either. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the service from staff was slightly on the bland side. They weren't rude or moody, but they were quite monotone and didn't really smile or provide an exceptional service. They didn't attempt any emotion, they answered questions with maybe 1 or 2 words and didn't put any effort into gratifying the customer. Overall the experience was satisfactory and I'd recommend.

Busy pub on a Monday afternoon. Served quickly. Cold beer during happy hour hit the spot.
