Ive been coming to this pub on and off for years. Spoken highly of this place to friends and family and even been involved with the entertainment on occasion. My friends and I were having an evening to celebrate a friend of ours being in town and were one person short of a complete group. This was because the security guard decided that due to this person wearing shorts, and a dress code apparently states no shorts after a cerain time. If rules are rules, why were other people allowed to proceed in past security wearing shorts. If there is some other motive this security guard had, it should have been put straight on the table as honesty. Our mate, a genuine human who could probably hold his alcohol better then most of the regular patrons, wouldnt hurt a fly was denied access based on a loose rule. We just wanted to have a good night. To those good staff who have always been genuine people towards my friends and I. You know it as well as I do. It only takes one person to ruin an evening. And that night... You guessed it! It was the security guard.

My gf broke up with me so I thoroughly Id go drink my sorrows. The manager was attending me and made sure I had a great night. I got a little too drunk and she knew straight away what to do. Called me an Uber and I cant thank her enough. Fantastic service!! Thank you red cow and Jess!

I had 3 beers showing no signs of intoxication within 5 hours. I was in the pokies area they cut my service off because I was there that long.. Ridiculous. I would assume it's the amount of beers you have not how long you been there ..

Food was disgusting and way over priced. Much better bistro's in this area. AVOID
