Outside dining is not the best depending on where you are seated, All decent seating areas were reserved. The only area which was not reserved in which we chose to sit constantly had tree leaves falling into my food and drink. Service was prompt and friendly A1. food was nice, nice atmosphere with a rustic feel. There is a carpark at the rear of the venue, not overly large but the other option is roadside parking. It would be nice for all dining table areas to be paved to be as comfortable as the popular highly reserved areas. Otherwise a nice experience.

Had my son's 1st Birthday here on the weekend. Staff were great, friendly and very accommodating. We had the feasting menu for our guests and the food was fantastic and so delicious. Ourselves and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. I only wish we had ordered more. The venue was perfect and rustic and the band and entertainment we hired added to the wonderful atmosphere. I would definitely go here again for a casual lunch or dinner or, hire the venue again for future events. Thank you for making my son's 1st birthday a memorable one!

Visited the Royal Cricketers Arms for lunch today and left quite disappointed. The establishment looks quite nice, and the staff were friendly however the selection of beer was far below average, no local craft beers, and no decent spirits. $11 for a Johnny Walker Black - ridiculous, the bottle is only $50. I was also unable to order said Johnny Walker neat, the bartender said they have to serve it with ice. So I just didn't bother. Ice dilutes and ruins the flavour of whisky and personally I enjoy drinking my whisky over 45 minutes or so, I'm not here to get drunk. At those prices - how can you feel you have the right to dictate how someone enjoys their beverage? Ordered a British style pie for lunch - I assumed this would have been a pot pie however what came out was a tiny portion of beef and potato served in what looked like an Army ration kit, with a piece of puff pastry sat on top, like a cracker. What a horrendous experience, such a shame because from the outside while walking in I was telling myself this is going to be great! Won't be returning.

Highly recommend this place for your next function. Not only affordable but the staff were amazing! We had our vowel renewal here a few weekends ago and everything was fantastic! Staff were amazing, very accommodating and the food was delicious. Big shout out to the staff and management who worked our event, you executed our vision perfectly. Guests loved the rustic feel of this venue.

It's been a few years since we've been here, and I must say I'm disappointed. As an epilogue, The Royal Cricketers Arms seems to lack direction. The style of the pub is old English, but the menu is fancied up fare, that doesn't live up to the prices. We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains for our meal. 5 cheese arancini ($18), onion rings ($12), 300g scotch fillet ($42) and a cheeseburger ($20, Friday night special). The onion rings were over-fried, a dark brown colour and tasted mostly of oil. There was real onion rings inside each of them, which is a start, however the heavy batter and oily taste made them stodgy and let them down. A decent serving size though. Arancini was almost completely hollow, with 5 extremely small arancini balls. There is less than a teaspoon of rice in each (no word of a lie). The actual ball is slightly smaller than a 50 cent coin, and you're essentially paying $3.60 per ball for 20 grains of rice and some breadcrumbs. Roasted garlic aioli is nice though, if they made a dish filled with rice (and 5 cheeses), it would be amazing. The steak, was incredibly small. With a 300g steak, I would expect AT LEAST 200g after cooking down. I would wager I received 100-150g. I've seen bigger dish sponges. Not only that, the steak was quite dry, overcooked for medium rare, and the mushroom sauce for accompaniment was bland, with 2 half slices of mushrooms (so, essentially 1 slice of mushroom). My wife had the cheeseburger. While it was $22 normally, on Friday nights all burgers are $20. Being a burger lover, I am used to a good burger being around this price range. Those burgers are usually prepared with passion, fresh and intriguing ingredients, and leave me with satisfaction and a smile on my face. I was appalled to experience neither satisfaction, nor a smile. The meat patty is freeze dried and tasteless. The bun, dry and stale, like a forgotten loaf after a week on the counter. The only flavour came from the sauce and mustard, not even the cheese stood out. My wife mentioned that it was cold when she started eating it. The only pleasant experience from the night, was the bar maid, whom was helpful and honest, and happy to share a laugh. She was the first person we saw on entering, unfortunately the food could not match her energy. Overall it was a harrowing experience, one that left us wishing we had gone elsewhere. For the price of the food, I would expect restaurant quality. What we received was less than pub quality. (Better alternatives would be the Blue Cattle Dog, Marayong Hotel, or the Kings Park Tavern, to name a few).

Just come away from the Royal Cricketer's Pub, need to take away their 'royal' charter for sure. Took my wife out for lunch, I know it's a pub so don't expect silver service and the best food ever, but do expect it to be edible. My fillet steak was cooked well and enjoyable. Unfortunately my wife's sirloin was disappointing, full of grizzle and fat. Told the waiter who was going to tell the chef, sat there for some time with no sign of any interest from the kitchen, so we've come away and won't be back. First basics of hospitality guys, take an interest when customers express concerns about what you put on a plate
